Be Inclusive Hospitality aims to gather the views and experiences of people currently working in the hospitality sector through a survey to build a better, more inclusive hospitality industry.
Founded by Lorraine Copes, Be Inclusive Hospitality is a not for profit organisation with a mission to drive education, amplify voices, build a strong community and accelerate racial equality.
The responses of the Inside Hospitality survey will be used to understand the experiences, opinions and attitudes of those working within the sector. The answers to the survey will help provide education and insights into different experiences and work towards creating inclusive work environments for all.
“I am approaching this like I would any other big project in my 18 years in Hospitality, we need to understand the current status quo first. I am a firm believer that the only way to improve and implement change is to measure, track and make incremental changes – the Inside Hospitality Survey is a first step to doing this.” Copes said of the survey which hopes to get not only receive responses from people Black, Asian and Minority ethnic backgrounds, but all backgrounds and sexual orientations.
The survey is in partnership with the leading data and insights experts CGA and it follows a series of online events held over the past two months and the launch of the Elevate Mentorship Scheme.
